St. Patrick’s Day is Around the Corner!

We want to thank each of you for being a valued customer and part of the Piedmont BARK family.

Amid the on-going concerns about the Coronavirus COVID-19, Piedmont BARK is closely monitoring the latest reports from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) as well as the World Health Organization (WHO) and will continue to take precautionary measures for the health and safety of our customers and staff.

Due to the fact that we’ve been a social environment for many beloved canines in the Midtown area since we opened 17+ years ago, we’ve always adhered to a very strict daily cleaning protocol in order to ensure the health and safety of all pets left in our care and of our staff.

While we will continue our best practices in relation to care of the dogs that we are entrusted with, we realize that it is ever more important to ensure the safety and health of each individual, customers and staff members, that enter Piedmont BARK. With this in mind, we have implemented additional precautionary measures for the health and safety of all as recommended by the CDC and WHO.

Should you be impacted by COVID-19 and need our help or support in any way, we’re here to help. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us at or by phone at 404-873-5400. We are all in this together and we value each of you and your canine babies!

Please continue to support your local Small Businesses during this time.

Spring Pet Health & Wellness

Just as in humans, dog’s immune systems can be more taxed and thus being more susceptible to illnesses during the Spring Allergy Season. This is especially true for those with inexperienced or weakened immune systems (puppies, older dogs, etc.). During this time, we are extra vigilant in our admittance procedures and internal monitoring of all pets. For the well-being of all pets that attend Piedmont BARK, we ask that you assist us in adhering to the following:

  • Make sure your dog is up to date on all vaccinations, including Distemper-Parvo, Bordatella, and Rabies. Note; Rabies is required by GA law and our GA Kennel license requires that all dogs entering our facility must have an up-to-date Rabies vaccination.
  • Watch your dog closely for any symptoms of illness, such as coughing, hacking, sneezing, wheezing, snorting, nasal discharge, crusty or runny nose or eyes, coughing, vomiting, diarrhea, upset stomach, lethargy, sudden or unusual change in appetite or behavior, or fever.
  • Do not bring your dog to Piedmont BARK if they have exhibited any symptoms of illness within the past 48 hours. You should contact your vet and keep your dog isolated from all other dogs until you have received the all-clear from your vet.
  • Please email or call Piedmont BARK if your dog presents any symptoms of illness, or if your dog is diagnosed with an illness.
